Yes, mom and dad Pernell finally got here! So for all of you anxious people that keep asking for pictures of Grandma and Grampa... here you go!
We've managed to get out and about a few times and they've been quite lucky!!! They were able to have a beautiful clear day and even got a peak at Mt McKinley!! 
I think that the weather has been a lot clearer for this set of granparents?! Sorry Grandma and Grandpa Elston... however, it has been colder! Down in the single digits most days and even in the negatives overnight?! Yikes.... and they've gotten to see not 1,
but 2 moose as well??!!! One when we were all walking to the overlook and another out wandering the streets!!! 
Enjoy the pictures with my nice new camera that Santa brought - ohhh la la... we're still learning how to use it for sure though???!!! Who said we don't have any sun in Alaska?? Here's the sun setting along Turnagain Arm amidst the icy waters and mountains! Yes, most people don't realize we live right in between the mountains AND the ocean!!
Here's another spot along the same drive where there's a build-up of ice on the mountain side... a popular place for ice climbers!!
Lily has enjoyed our adventures... but I think they've pooped her out :o)

Looks marvelous. Glad to see you've had some visitors. Looks like a lot of fun. Love the pic of Lily in the stocking. We were planning to do that with Tierney, but of course she waited until New Year's Eve to make her appearance and we'd put the stockings away by then. Plus- she came out so HUGE that she probably wouldn't have fit in the stocking anyway, so I guess it was all for the best.
